Forex and gold traders often do two things kapag may Fed Interest Rate announcement.

Nagpupuyat

Ang unang ginagawa nila ay nagpupuyat at inaabangan ang rate decision.

Nakatutok sa rate decision at sa conference ng FED chairman after.

Around 2 in the morning sa Pilipinas lumalabas ang decision and 30 minutes after that ay may FED conference.

Inaabangan nila ang decision at yung magiging reaction ng market.

This often leads them to getting faked out sa initial na knee-jerk reaction ng market tapos nasusunugan sila ng pera dahil sa pagrereverse ng market.

Kadalasan ang nangyayari ay the market will move on one direction then move hard sa opposite direction.

Minsan isang direction lang ang tinatahak ni market.

Minsan naman nakakailang hard moves sa opposite direction. Up hard then bagsak hard. Akyat na naman hard then bagsak na naman hard.

This leads to the second thing na ginagawa ng mga traders tuwing FED Rate Announcement.
