My Favorite Misconception On Bear Market

Most Traders look at Bear Market or Market Crash the same way.

“Kapag nagreversal na saka ako papasok”

That is a very good plan if….

May if na kasama.

That is a very good plan if tinitingnan mo ang market hindsight.

Alam mo saan at kailan nagreverse.

Let me use an analogy na makakarelate kayo.

Una ay yung world war.

Yung last na world war was WWII.

It happened from1939 to 1945.

If you look at it now ay masasabi mo na madali masurvive yung world war kasi ang kailangan mo lang ay magtago or wag mamatay sa loob ng 6 years at safe ka na.

When world war 2 happened ay walang may alam kelan yun matatapos at akala ng lahat they will all die.

Do you see the difference?

Let’s take 2020 Covid Outbreak.

Wala pang vaccine noon. Di pa alam masyado ano ang covid. Akala pakawala ng China para patayin ang mga tao.

Lahat takot. Lahat nagpapanic.

If you look at it now masasabi mo na di naman yun big deal syempre may vaccine na and everything.

The reason bakit puro “cash is king” ang naririnig mo sa mga traders now ay same din. Hindsight na view siya from past events.

If nasa market ka while things happen ay di mo alam kelan yung reversal. Baka ang iniisip mo na reversal ay top ng another downtrend na naman.

Ang pinakafunny pa na truth ay yung kahit reversal na ang market mula sa crash at Bear ay pwedeng pwede ka pa rin masunog, maipit at mawipeout.

Hindi porket reversal na eh lahat ng stocks aakyat.

May umaakyat at may bumabagsak sa ano man na market condition.

May umaangat at bumabagsak sa Bull market.

May umaangat at bumabagsak sa Bear market.

Kaya yung iniisip mo na cash is king ka at hintayin mo ang reversal is flawed.

Yung sabi mo na dito ka papasok.

Pwedeng pwede ka pa rin maipit, masunog at mawipeout jan.

All those cash is king mo na idea is just fear.

Ansakit nun diba? Nagcash is king ka ng ilang buwan or taon tapos pagbalik mo maiipit, masusunog at mawiwipeout ka lang din naman pala.

You did not runaway sa losses. You could and will lose pa din kahit saan na part ka ng market pumasok. Losing is inevitable.

Ang tinakbuhan mo ay hindi losses. You run away from experience. You run away from the chance to experience a market that would have tested your proper risk management and survival skills sa trading.

Di mo naisip yun? Well, maybe kailangan mo pa ng ibang mga bagong idea or perspective.
