Are You a Sitting Duck When Markets Go Down? (Hopelessly Watching Your Investment Shrink)
I had some discussions with some local PSE traders kahapon.
In a market where you can only earn if you buy (long-only market like PSE) ay sitting duck ka talaga kapag bumabagsak ang market na yun.
Wala kang choice but to watch your investment shrink day after day.
I can boldly say na this is where global trading comes in like a manna from heaven.
Why?
Kasi most ng global trading offers long and short position.
As a matter of fact, my trailstops are getting hit as I am doing this blog right now. Nagshort ako sa iba’t-ibang GOLD positions at naeexit with profit ang mga positions ko currently.
I’m up over 86,000 pesos in profit na so far today.
Bagsak ang market pero kumikita ka.
Isn’t that wonderful?
Hindi ka backed into a corner na wala kang option but to either defend your position or close your port.
If the market decides to go down ay pwede mong pagkakitaan through shorting. Kapag nagdecide naman ang market na umakyat ay pwede mong pagkakitaan again through long positions.

Isang beauty pa ng global market when we talk about Forex in specific ay may swap fees.
May interest na nagegenerate ang pera na nilalagay mo daily once positive ang swap fees mo.

Nakadepende sayo kung ano ang gusto mo. You can approach it a relaxed way (swing trading) or pwede ka rin daily nakatrade which is an active way of trading (day and scalp trading).
Add other markets sa tinitrade mo para hindi ka sitting duck lang at palaging nasa mercy ng isa or dalawang market.
