It Took Me 3 Years To Recover

“After 3 years ay nakarecover na din ang port ko. All I did was wait.”

It still blows my mind kung bakit marami pa rin ang purposely na nagpapaipit para lang maghintay ng ilang years makarecover.

Why would you subject yourself to such ordeal?

I had an interesting conversation once with a trader na nag-invest ng buong retirement niya sa SCC.

I asked “why?”

All I got was “SCC gives out dividends and its the best stock in PSE. Maganda earnings, solid ang management at maganda ang negosyo. Garantisado ang pera mo sa SCC.”

I said “ok, but that does not guarantee anything. Stock market does not operate on guarantees.”

Anything kasi can happen and wala kang way para imake sure na kung ano man ang forecast mo sa isang stock ay sure yun na mangyayare sa future.

Yung iba na umuupo sa mga losses ay nakakarecover pero mas marami pa rin ang tuluyan nang nasunog ang port at umayaw na lang sa stock market.

Hindi bravery ang pagpapaipit ng 3 years bago makarecover.

Testament yan na umupo ka sa losses mo ng pagkatagal at nagrely sa luck/miracle.

Wala kang bolang crystal to see your port recover in 3 years. All you had was hope and luck.
