Should You Use Multiple Time Frames? (Higher Time Frame for Trend and Lower Time Frame for Entries/Exits)
Use multiple time frames: Use higher time frames for trend direction with smaller time frames for entry/exit points.
Do you believe sa ganitong idea?
Do you look at the higher timeframe for trend and execute sa lower timeframe?
Pwede rin na opposite. You find trend sa lower timeframe at execute sa higher timeframe.
Do you trade using that idea?

Let us put that MULTIPLE TIMEFRAME THEORY SA TEST!
I will use 1 HR as my higher timeframe and 3 minutes as my lower timeframe.
I will use XAUUSD for charting purposes.
Lagyan ko ng vertical line ang AUG 16 at AUG 17 para nasa loob lang ng 1 day yung example to be able to track and contain the price movements.
Mula midnight until 2 pm ay range lang yung price ng GOLD. By 2 pm ay nagsimula na itong umakyat.
Nag-aabang ka ng trend using 1 hour timeframe.
By 7 Pm ay nakita mo na uptrend na nga ang price kasi may higher low na at higher high.
Nagswitch ka sa 3 min timeframe. Since naconfirm mo na ang uptrend sa higher timeframe ay ang next na gagawin mo is maghanap ng entry.
Let’s say price action ang gamit mo.
Supply and demand plus support and resistance.
(You can use any other strategy pero sa example na ito ay yan ang gamit mo)
Nakita mo na nabreak ng price ang inaeye mo na resistance tapos may heavy na volume.
Sa ICT BOS yan or break of structure.
Umakyat ang price after mo bumili. Natuwa ka. Then nagdip ng konti pero naghold ang support.
Umakyat konti then boom! It went down at nabreak ang support kaya umexit ka.
Loss ang trade mo despite nagcontinue akyat pa ang price after.
I want you to focus your attention sa nakahighlight ng orange.
A huge drop can happen on a lower timeframe despite uptrend ang pinapakita ng higher timeframe and yan ang problema sa idea ng using of multiple timeframes.
Ang idea mo kasi kaya ka gumagamit ng trend sa higher timeframe at nag-eexecute sa lower timeframe ay kung ano ang trend ng higher timeframe ay susunod ang lower timeframe.
Well, prices do not move in one direction only.
Meron pa nga na uptrend ang tinitrade niya pero wipedout siya ng dip.
In theory ay perfect yung hahanap ka ng direction sa higher timeframe tapos eexecute ka sa lower timeframe.
Tandaan mo na sa loob ng isang oras ay may 20 na 3 minute candles.
Isa or dalwang candles lang sa benteng candles na yun ang sumagad bagsak ay ubos na pera mo.
Sa example ko nga na yan ay mabilis pang umexit at di pa gaanong nagdip ang price.
