Nag IPO si SSP at 3.15 pesos. Nagpavoluntary delist at ang tender offer price ay 2.22 pesos.
Some say that 2.2 pesos is unfair para sa mga bumili nung IPO.
Well, welcome sa stock market.
Walang rule dito na kung ano ang IPO price ay yun din ang tender offer price once nagdecide magvoluntary delist ang isang stock.
Isa ito sa mga risk na pilit iniignore ng mga pumapasok sa stock market.
I remember some traders talking about Book Value thinking na once madelist ang isang stock ay ibibased sa book value ang tender offer price.
That is not how it works.
May mga nadedelist na mas mahal ang tender offer price kesa sa IPO price nila noon. Meron din nadedelist na mas mura ang tender offer price nila kesa sa IPO price nila.
People enter the stock market thinking its a place for them to grow their money without any risk.
Parang paraiso ang tingin nila sa stock market kaya nagugulat sila na me chance pala silang malugi.
Risk is real sa stock market and SSP is not even the worst case.
Go and search for CALATA na walang tender offer at baka magpasalamat ka pa sa SSP.
Go look for CHP as well.
Investing as well as trading in the stock market ay may kaakibat na risk.
Its your job as a trader or as an investor to manage that risk.
Hindi lang delisting ang risk sa stock market. Meron pa nga stock na nasususpend gaya ni AR.
Tied-up pera mo at hindi mo makuha dahil suspended ang stock.
May chance kang palakihin ang pera mo if you know what you are doing at may chance ka din na malugi kapag mali ang approach mo.
