“Maam, what’s with this black and white or black and gray candles that i see on other trader’s charts?”

This is one of the oldest tricks in technical analysis.

Minsan they use normal candles na black at gray ang kulay.

Minsan naman they use hollow candles na black and grey ang kulay.

This is a psych trick to tone down emotions.

Take a look at this chart.

Ano nafefeel mo? May konting sadness at kaba diba kasi puro mahahabang red candles.

How about this chart?

May konting saya at excitement diba kasi puro green na candles.

If you remove colors then you eliminate those unnecessary emotions.

Mas makakatutok ka ngayon sa strategy mo lang at execution.
