Weekly Lesson #23
Here is the link: WEEKLY LESSON #22
Mula pa nung bata tayo ay natrain na tayo na may nananalo at may natatalo.
Winning is good. Losing is bad.
Winning is success. Losing is failure.
We strive hard para manalo. We want to win sa mga quiz bee. We want to win sa mga sports. We want to win sa singing contests. We want to win sa mga dance contest.
You see your wins/gains as success. You see losses as failures.
You will do everything you can to succeed. You will do everything you can to win. You will do everything you can para habulin ang gains.
Take a moment magrelax. Maybe sip a cup of coffee or juice muna kasi mahaba ang blog na ito and you are going to learn an important lesson today.
Tapos ka na magkape? Take a look at this picture.
“8 wins with 2 losses maam”
“maganda na win/loss ratio maam”
“panalo maam.”
You like that don’t you?
“Oh yeeees!”
If you liked that picture then you are part of the 90 plus percent of people that have failed, are failing, or eventually will fail.
I tend to rub people the wrong way when I introduce my idea kaya nowadays ay bihira mo maririnig or mababasa ang ideas ko kapag di ka TDS.
Let me clarify and justify what I meant when I said na recipe ito sa failure in trading.
Let’s remove the win rate. It’s not a win rate anymore. It’s just trade results.
Now, how do you feel about that picture?
“hmmmm….”
“wala lang maam..”
Exactly. It removes the sense of pride. Nawawala yung feeling mo magaling ka.
If we switched it. If you remove the win and loss na label at palitan ng outcome ay mag iiba din pakiramdam mo.
You can feel happy sa mga win na outcome mo and feel responsible for them all you want but the fact will always be na si market ang nasusunod.
Now, take a look at this again.
The best thing to do is to keep the red outcome (loss) small.
We will get to that sa next WEEKLY LESSON.
For now just try to absorb the learnings. Let it sink in.
The fact na WIN RATE ang tawag sa WIN RATE should tell you na its all about the wins.
Its always about winning.
Okay yun sa real life pero pagdating sa trading ay may different set of rules.
Winning and losing are all part of trading outcomes.
Walang “pass” or “skip” button sa losing.
Naiipit, nasusunog at nagkuquit.
I hope you enjoyed this lesson. Stay tuned sa Traders Den for more lessons na based sa reality at kakaiba sa nakasanayan. We will have more lessons coming.
I do invite you to try our TDS program if seryoso ka talaga sa trading.
