Trading rules should never be about results since yan ang isang aspect na as a trader ay wala kang control.
I have seen some traders remove their stoploss and add to their loser na yung trade nagturn out to be thier biggest profitable trade that year.

The problem lies on what comes next after.

The day comes na nabreak niya ang rules niya at hindi malaking profit ang naging outcome but nasunog ang account.
Niremove niya SL niya at kumita siya ng malaki sa loob ng isang taon. The following year ay wipedout ang pera niya. Niremove niya ang SL niya and instead umayon sa kanya ang trade ay naging against sa kanya hard. Ubos ang pera niya.
Your trading rules must prevent you from losing too much money sa bawat trade. Yan dapat ang main purpose ng pagkakaroon mo ng mga rules. Yan lang ang bagay na pwede mong macontrol sa trading. If you give away that control then short-lived ang magiging trading career mo.
