What Is the Best Risk-Reward Ratio?

We often receive emails asking for RRR.

“Ano po para sa inyo ang best na Risk-reward ratio?”

Malaki ang gap ng theory versus real live trading.

In theory kasi pwede mong maquantify ang risk mo at reward.

You can assign a number or a percentage.

Ikaw ang nagdedecide at ikaw ang may control.

In reality ay wala kang control sa reward.

Wala sa kamay mo kung magkano ang magiging profit mo sa isang trade.

Si market ang nagpapagalaw ng price kaya kahit pa umayon sa sayo si market ay hindi mo pa din alam how much gain ang ibibigay niya.

What you have is a guess which is what you call TP.

What if hindi umabot sa TP mo ang price?

What if over pa sa TP mo sana ang price.

Yung idea ng risk-reward ratio is a form of controlling or taming the market.

Looks good sa theory but nonsense pagdating sa totoong real trade na.

You can set risk and adjust your stoploss according sa tolerance mo but yung reward ay wala sa kamay mo unless you put a limit on your potential earnings which is what your TP is for.

This concept is very hard ipasink in or ipadigest sa traders na konti pa lang ang experience sa trading kasi under pa sila sa belief na may paraan sila para macontrol ang kikitain nila sa bawat trades nila.

The more they experience live trading ay the more na naiintindihan nila na si market ang supreme at amount ng loss mo lang ang pwede at dapat mong lagyan ng limit.
